SANSUI Gauteng Summer Cup 2017- The People's Race

The Gauteng SANSUI Summer is one of Joburg’s most prestigious sporting event that brings you a fun filled day out.

This year, the famous and highly acclaimed social gathering brings not only a fashionable race course event, but also brings the who’s who of celebville on the red carpet displaying some amazing fashion trends.

While the focus is on the races, the event is packed with entertainment for the whole age groups including a carnival with mechanical rides, face painters, buskers and live entertainment, hospitality areas, food and drink offerings.

This year the fun was no different, on the musical front was Mi-Casa moving people from their chairs and bringing into a good mood jam while others were dancing “get-downs”. People really enjoyed themselves more especially in music, food and drinks.

The Turffontein race meeting was scheduled to Sunday 26 November due to the results of continuous rain. It was infortune that the decision could not have been made earlier to minimise inconvenience for all involved.

Many activities didn’t take place because of weather and people not showing up. But it still was an exciting day full of bubbly people. By Kholofelo Teffo
