Principal on camera with a learner

On Friday a video of principal of Reiger park secondary school on the East rand sleeping with learners in his offices has been making rounds on social media.

There are pictures and even sex tapes he took during the encounters. These videos and pictures show how the principal abused his position of power to sleep with pupils in in offices, which he later resigned because of the sex video that is doing rounds around the internet.

The Gauteng department of education has confirmed that the principal has handed in his resignation after the sex scandal video, “Our enquiry revealed that, the said principal resigned in October 2017; and as such his last day was 15 January 2018.

It must be noted that he is no longer in employment in the department; however we will report him to the South African council of educators to be struck of the roll with immediate effect”. Social workers visited the school to offer counselling to learners and assists with the process of laying criminal complaints.

Though if the video was not making the round on social media parents were not going to be able to know what is happening in the school, proper channels should have been taken.

People who are distributing the video on social media are distributing child pornography, in South Africa we have a law that is protecting children under the age of 18 and the girl who is that video is a minor and distributing the video is unlawful especial when exposing the identity of the compromised minor.

Whether she agreed or not which is the debate that has been going on social media, it is irrelevant a principal shouldn’t be looking at his learner in a sexual way.

Reality is these teachers are supposed to protect these children, when this happens who is to protect them. The fact that he was a principal put him as a leader; safety assurer to the number one trustee, the principal has violated all that.

Another reality is that these teachers come from a perverted society it would it would be hard to root the out but it is not impossible that they can be kept far away from society.
