de it his mission to train hard and meet people who will continue to inspire and push him forward.
The (21) year old liked watching soccer on TV when he was still in primary school, he then later decided that he is going to start playing soccer in high school, little did he know that he will fall in love with this sport and not only did it become his hobby, it became his way to express himself.
Themba aka (also known as) Mshishi Jr was inspired by the likes of Simphiwe Tshabalala as he is fast, team player and considered as a legend after being the first player to score during the 2010 FIFA world cup.
“I’ve learned to not only believe in myself but also in my teammates, and I always make sure that I say positive things to my teammates after every game as we have to accept that as much as we have good days we also have bad days but that should not stop us from reaching our goals.”
Born and raised in the dusty roads of Difateng a township in Tembisa which lacks proper soccer facilities, Mshishi Jr is not letting those circumstances stop him from working hard in order to finally live his dream.
“Soccer taught me a lot of things, such developing communication skills, learning how to deal with anger and team work, I believe that if you believe in yourself you can achieve whatever you want, no dream is too big, all you have to do is keep working hard to push yourself no matter how hard it is.”
