Selfish King Zwelithini

So Zulu king, Zwelithini was speaking at the commemoration of the battle of Isandlwana throwing threads here and there.

He said the following: “I promise you I will not allow anyone to take the life and soul of the Zulu nation. I warned Mr Ramaphosa that as the governing party they mustn’t make the mistake of taking away the land of the Zulus, because all hell will break loose.”

Bear in mind that this is the very same King who called for war between the local people and the foreigners in Kwa-Zulu Natal a few years ago.

Back then he didn’t care if the foreigners killed the Zulu people and now because he risks losing his possession he suddenly cares about the Zulu nation.

He then added on to say that: “We must not be provoked. There is no need for the Zulus to be abused for their Treasury. Because that will force me, and the world will agree with me, when I declare that let me and my nation live on our own and develop ourselves, because in South Africa, development is selective.”

If you ask me, I think Zwelithini feels intimidated by Ramaphosa. He says he will not allow anyone to take away the life and soul of the Zulu nation.

However, my question is, yes he may be the leader of the Zulu people but as a true leader, are the Zulu people the only nation in South Africa? What about the other nations? Is he even aware of the fact that the Khoi san, Nama people… want their land back?

As a true leader he should have said he will not allow anyone to take away the life and soul of any nation but no he is being biased and he expects to get support from other nations as well. Never!

He also made use of the words ‘all hell will break loose if Ramaphosa takes away land from the Zulus’ I say let all hell break loose please! Zwelithini doesn’t care about the Zulu nation at all.

The only reason why he is warning Ramaphosa not take away land from the Zulus is because he know that he will lose his position as the Zulu King.
