2nd ANNUAL ONE MAN SHOW - HEAVYGEE

Mania Shisanyama (Old Experia) was “Music for 22 Local Artist” which left the audience in rapt amazement, at the 2nd annual One Man Show (OMS) by way of Heavygee, this past weekend on the 3rd of May 2017.

The line-up from live performance to supporting DJs included: (Performances) Lyrik Shoxen, Devine Dance Crew, RayCosta, Smash Mike, Maizar, Mexican Boys, Muzzle, Lil Decious, Kizzy, Cassie, SMS, Osaze, LKD and 3 Dimensions. (DJs) Ntlhane, Qscotch, Bronx K, Sweet Candy, Ceephonik, Embassy and Fixaman.

After all it was for the focal man to play, almost immediately when he laid a hand on the turntable, the music pulsed with bewitching textures played in a professional-may-care style by the ensemble that not so much announced the name of the chant but allowed it to be discovered.

One of the most miraculous things about “OMS” is the ability for local artists and business to act as a vessel for catharsis. The venue was open enough to allow listeners to sink deep into its musical pillow. Patrons were seen leaning over the railing in front of the stage with rapt amazement. This was huge, robust music that led through various gradually shifting blueprints, played in one piece. The experience was decorated with Liberado and Flying Fish (Flavoured Beers) flyers & products under the sponsorship of SAB (South African Breweries)-Polokwane.

Any appearance by Heavygee is an event and its mark was left on a grateful audience who danced and gave an enthusiastic ovation. Too bad it was only for one night, but moving forward in an entertaining chapter, Heavygee will be performing at Industrial Shisanyama 1st of March 2017.
